Opening ticket or prize envelopeThe Brides' Ball is a community affair to make a difference and have fun doing it. As such, ticket sales have become a community affair as well! Join wedding experts, brides, and The Wedding Ring in packing The Brides' Ball dance floor full of bridal gowns, tiaras and tuxes!

HOW TO OFFER TICKETS

As a Brides' Ball Ticket Ambassador, you'll be a very important part of the success of the ball.

Tickets are purchased by Ticket Ambassadors in multiples of 2 (with a minimum of 4) from The Brides' Ball team and organizers. Ambassadors may offer each ticket for $30 each. A ticket-sales sheet can be made available for Ambassadors who know they'll make plenty of sales but can't afford to purchase the tickets in advance of sales. Please note, purchased tickets cannot be returned for a refund.

SELLING TICKETS IS EASY

Selling tickets to the Ball is easy. Start by contacting your network of friends, family, co-workers or associates, and tell them about this fabulous event and how easy it is to get tickets now that you are a seller! Not only will you be helping create a future without breast cancer, but you'll be having fun with your best friends and family while doing it. Who says Mom doesn't want to wear a tiara again? Why wouldn't you want your soul mate to play Prince Charming for a night?

If you're willing to offer tickets from your location, we'll post your name and email (or website) address on the 'WHERE TO BUY TICKETS' page of TheBridesBall.com. That would make you a point of contact at your home, office or general location.

GIVING BACK HAS ITS ADVANTAGES

For every 6 tickets you sell, you'll receive one complimentary Brides' Ball ticket.

For every 10 tickets you sell, you'll receive a complimentary VIP ticket. VIP tickets come with VIP lounge access to ultra sweet swag bags and cocktails - there's nothing wrong with a little extra attention, is there? There is no limit to the number of tickets you can sell or earn. If you know of someone who really needs to feel like a princess for an evening, you're welcome to award your VIP tickets to them.

TICKET SELLERS IN THE SPOTLIGHT

Ticket sellers are more than just helpers. To The Brides' Ball, you're a very big factor in the success of the event. And since you're out in the community, you'll be the ones that are raising awareness, generating a buzz for a good cause, and letting K-W know what The Brides' Ball is all about.

When you're speaking with people, you can invite them to log onto TheBridesBall.com and share their stories, inspirations and hope for a future without breast cancer.

If you work in a large organization, you can ask your network admin or boss to circulate an email inviting everyone to the Ball and telling them how and when to contact you.

You can put up posters around your workplace, the local grocery store, the hospital waiting room or on your company's internal (or external) website and more. There are plenty of easy ways to help!

If you're truly on a mission, you can gather your friends, don a few tiaras and sell tickets in the middle of Victoria Park. Whatever you can do, we will love.

We'll be having a Karma Contest in TheBridesBall.com to see who can create the most effective or unique ways of spreading the word! So keep track of the different things you've done to promote the ball and sell tickets so you can enter your savvy ideas into the Karma Contest in May 2009.

WE CAN HELP!

The Brides' Ball has tools to help you sell tickets. We can provide you with promotional materials such as posters, email templates you can use to contact your network, and even tiaras (for those that want to sell in true bridal style!)...

WHO SHOULD YOU TARGET?

The Brides' Ball is billed as a semi-formal event organized for community professionals, couples and networks of friends who want to give back and have a great time doing it. Everyone is welcome.

Targeting your friends – particularly those with large circles of friends of their own is usually the best way to sell tickets. If you're a local business or retailer, you already know which of your clients would LOVE an event like The Brides' Ball. These are just a few ideas to help you sell. If you are only comfortable approaching your own list of friends and family, that is great too!
